OUR COMMITMENT AS A TEAM
Dr. John Wertish, D.C. obtained his chiropractic license in 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from St. Cloud State University and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Science University. Dr. Wertish is also a member of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Wertish is an expert in chiropractic care, whole food nutrition, diet counseling and exercise plans. He specializes in a “root-cause” resolution approach to chiropractic care and overall well-being to ensure lifelong health and vitality. He works closely with all patients to help them understand and resolve their underlying causes of pain and discomfort instead of just focusing on the symptom of pain. Restoring proper function is done through a combination of chiropractic care, physiotherapy procedures, physical rehabilitation, spinal traction, soft tissue mobilization and nutritional counseling.
Many of our patients now know firsthand, that the conventional approach of medicine is falling short of solving todays healthcare issues. By looking at the body as a whole and understanding how each system interacts and communicates with one another, Dr. Wertish is able to provide patients at Minnesota Chiro Health of St. Louis Park with a holistic approach to chiropractic health and healing that works. He and the entire team specialize in creating customized care plans for each unique individual, and he makes it his personal goal to help every patient achieve optimum health so they can keep doing the things they love to do.
When he’s not in the office, you can likely find Dr. Wertish enjoying the outdoors (hunting, fishing, camping and wake surfing, to name a few), or in the gym working on his fitness. As a husband and father who is trying to keep his family healthy he believes in the power of whole foods, which is why he enjoys shopping at local farmers’ markets and checking out some of the great farm-to-table restaurants in the Twin Cities.
Dr. Wertish has been named one of the Best Chiropractors by Minnesota Monthly Magazine from 2014-2020

Dr. Chris Phillips is the Director of Education and Operations at Texas Chiro Health and Chiro Health LLC. After starting his career in healthcare it was obvious that people needed better answers to understanding their personal health/ Immune system which is why he focuses on teaching patients to implement peer reviewed science into their daily lives. Dr. Chris understands that people typically develop back pain, neck pain, and headaches due to poor habits and poor lifestyle choices over time. Helping to educate patients with randomized controlled trial research will help them choose to move better, eat better and manage their stress appropriately.
Dr. Chris’s personal search for health and wellness began early with his involvement in athletics which led him to wrestling at Heidelberg University where he was two time captain of the wrestling team and obtained his undergraduate degree majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. He then went on to obtain his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University’s College of Chiropractic, in Marietta, GA in 2011. In that same year he and his family relocated to Texas to begin his first chiropractic practice.
Dr. Bryan Stephens joined Texas Chiro Health in 2016 in the Allen location and then later relocating to McKinney in 2018 where he is Senior Partner at our Stonebridge location. He enjoys helping the community become healthier through education on eating well, moving well, and thinking well in order to limit the stresses often placed on the body through our daily lifestyle choices.
Dr. Bryan obtained his Doctorate degree in Chiropractic from Parker University in 2013 after completing his undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in psychology from Texas A&M University. He firmly believes that being able to do what you love is of the greatest importance in our lives and doing that stems from our ability to keep moving and be fully active throughout our entire lives.
Dr. Antonio Flaquer has always been an active in athletics and fitness. His interest in chiropractic began after injuring himself playing basketball at a young age and it affected him so severely that he was not able to walk comfortably. Although stretches and exercises were causing some relief, it was only after receiving adjustments that Dr. Antonio was able to walk pain free and realized there was more to Chiropractic then just back and neck pain. This realization led him to Parker University where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in both Anatomy and Health and Wellness and his Doctorate of Chiropractic. In 2021, Dr. Antonio joined the Texas Chiro Health team and he practices in the Lakewood area of East Dallas at the N/W corner of Mockingbird Ln. and Abrams Pkwy. He is dedicated to continuously learning and serving people to help understand their overall health and well-being. Outside of the office Dr. Antonio is always staying active with playing basketball, working out, and country dancing. He loves spending time with his family and friends and is always on the lookout to try new things that will teach him and improve his overall lifestyle.
